About Me
I was born in Smithers, BC yet had the privilege to be raised in Houston, BC. I grew up in a country setting where my grandparents owned a small ranch directly across the highway from us. I enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours in nature. Growing up in a small town of Northern BC, I was drawn to forestry, and spent the first decade after graduation working in different fields within the forest industry. These included: BC Forest Service, Private Consulting, Industry, and eventually part of an Arboculture team near Boulder, Colorado, USA. I enjoyed the forest industry but a few months after my son was born he was diagnosed with severe eczema and so began my journey into the uncharted field of natural health. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Leadership & Sciences at Trinity Western University (TWU) in Langley, BC. My nutritional training and experience comes through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) as well as Precision Nutrition. I have spent years consulting with clients regarding nutrition, sport & exercise nutrition, naturopathic/homeopathic medicine, and Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy treatment sessions. My knowledge and expertise is backed by many certifications from notable programs across British Columbia and the U.S. I am a member of The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Alumi Association (CSNNAA). I am also a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST) registered with The Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America. I am a crazy life long learner and my curiosity of the human body led me to continuing studies as a certified Biotherapeutic Drainage Practitioner through SEROYAL Continuing Medical Education. I went on to further my studies as a Rubimed (PSE) Therapist with a program through Biomed International Products Corp. and Terra-Medical Inc. Another interest of mine has its roots in Midwifery where I am trained and competent as a certified DONA Birth Doula where I have consulted with many clients and walked along side many birth experiences while working in the field of Paramedicine.
I am currently diversifying my study's and deepening my understanding of trauma and its impact on our overall well being with training through Gabore Mate's work (childhood development & trauma) as well as the HeartMath Institute.

"Having worked in several clinics as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Biotherapeutic Drainage Practitioner, Doula, and in Emergency Medicine both in the field and as a training instructor - I have found that I've been able to genuinely understand how a proactive and healthy lifestyle can alleviate long-term health concerns, trauma, and pain. I personally seek out daily opportunities to experience deeper levels of health for myself, my family, and those I serve in my community. I am always open hearted to learn new ways to achieve higher levels of health and I hope to always encourage others along the way." - Warm regards, Marla Meneghin
